LCD Soundsystem - Dance Yrself Clean

I love this song so much, I blew the speakers in my truck yesterday listening to it.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die

I've been so obsessed with Lana Del Rey lately. Her songs get stuck in my head and I can't help but listen to her on repeat.

Walk off the Earth and Sarah Blackwood perfectly recreate Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know using only one guitar. Whoever figured this out is a genius!

My roommates and I just watched Blue Valentine and cried our little eyes out. I love what they chose as their song- You and Me by Penny and the Quarters. I wish they still made music like this. Can't stop playing it!

For the past year and a half, this song has been my alarm on my phone. Having to wake up at 5:30 for work most mornings, you'd think I'd be sick and tired of this song. But no, I love it more and more every day!

And it doesn't hurt that it's Ryan Gosling's band :)

I few months ago I saw Florence + The Machine play a small acoustic show at The Hollywood Towers. There was a brief Q&A after the show and I couldn't get over how quiet Florence's speaking voice was compared to her powerful singing voice. She was so sweet and the band killed it live. I can't wait to see them again.

Favorite song off their latest album Ceremonials: What The Water Gave Me.

I was listening to the Sirius XMU station on my drive home from Reno today. They were playing a live set of the Fleet Foxes, they've always been a band I listened to, but never truly explored. They were absolutely amazing live! It's so refreshing to hear a band that sounds just as good live as they do recorded. Here's a video of one of my favorite songs from them.
